How the Winning Number Is Born
Picture fifty archers standing in a row, shooting arrow after arrow at a straw target. When the round ends, counters walk up and count every arrow stuck in the target. Now take that big number and keep only its last two digits. That is the teer result for the round. Nobody can arrange it, because nobody can tell an arrow exactly where to fly. That is the beauty of it, and the reason no one can predict it.
What FR and SR Really Mean
- FR (First Round): shot and declared in the afternoon.
- SR (Second Round): shot and declared in the evening.
- Each is its own contest. A 47 in FR says nothing about what SR will bring.
